CineMOAB INVITES YOU TO GET OUT, ABOUT
AND CELEBRATE THE HISTORY OF FILMMAKING!
The only thing more majestic than Moab is movies, so it’s time to shake the desert dust off those cameras and mics, get your crew together and head on out to make that film you’ve been dreaming of.
Just remember to hit record!
This year we’re embracing the origins of filmmaking! including Silent, Golden Age, Musical, Hollywood Renegade, Epic, Blockbuster, Indie and Found Footage.
So get creative and get Moab Moviemakin’
How does it work? You’ll be randomly assigned 2 taglines and 2 genres to choose from. Then make your film. This year we’re also including a bonus poster competition too for all the designers out there.
Genre choices include - Silent (Think The Gold Rush), Golden Age (Think Gone With The Wind), Musical (Think Singin’ in the Rain), Epic (Think The 10 Commandments), Hollywood Renegade (Think Easy Rider), Blockbuster (Think Star Wars), Indie (Think Pulp Fiction), Found Footage (Think Blair Witch Project)
Tagline Samples include - The desert remembers everything. They came to Moab for the view. They stayed for the trouble. Nobody expected the dinosaur tracks to lead THERE. Under a Moab sky, anything can happen. There are 2,000 arches. They picked the wrong one.
Runtime - Up to 9 mins plus 60 secs for credits.

Doors at 5:30pm and the festivities kick off at 6:00pm and it’s free!
